Georgia offers some exceptional outdoor recreation opportunities (no skiing, though).  It is known for the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, and the state boasts 128 public golf courses.  Nature lovers will enjoy the Appalachian Trail, Okefenokee Swamp and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area to Cumberland Island National Seashore, as well as miles of beaches along the Atlantic Ocean.  There are also 4 professional sports teams (the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, the Atlanta Thrashers and the Atlanta Hawks).
