| Savannah,
Georgia Real Estate
Beautiful antebellum homes
tucked beneath huge Oak trees covered in Spanish
moss...is there a more Southern image?
This is a charming, desirable, elegant city, and
real estate is priced accordingly. There
are still properties available for restoration
in the Historic District, believe it or
not. Next to the Historic District is the
Victorian District where people are finding two-
and three-story frame houses in need of repair
and restoration. The area becomes more
popular in this regard as the number of
restorable houses in the Historic District
declines. The Gordonston area is similar
to the Victorian District but not yet
"discovered." Ardsley Park,
Savannah's first suburb, is full of lovely
mansions and bungalows. Georgetown is also
upscale. To the east is wonderful Tybee
Island where prices are high. On the
Southside you'll find all kinds of homes,
including ranch-style homes and patio homes,
apartments and condominiums, many under
$200,000.
